Megibung tradition introduced by King of Karangasem that I Gusti Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah around 1614 Caka or 1692 century. This tradition was brought by I Gusti Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah win the war in conquering kingdoms in Sasak, Lombok . In the past, when the soldiers were eating, the king made a rule to eat together in a circular position called ‘Megibung’.
